Wake Forest thinks Hinton can raise roof

Junior quarterback retains No. 1 status with his dynamic potential

Kendall Hinton’s ascent to starting quarterback was interrupted by an injury last year, but Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson indicated throughout spring drills he remains committed to him.

Clawson named Hinton his No. 1 quarterback at the start of spring drills last month. He did so despite Hinton having missed the final nine regular-season games and a bowl win over Temple, with John Wolford returning next fall as a senior with 33 career starts. ...
