DURHAM — If only it was this easy to compare scores and pick college basketball results.
A week after struggling North Carolina lost at home to middling ACC foe Boston College, Duke completed a sweep of the those same Eagles with an eight-point victory on the road despite playing sluggishly 34 of 40 minutes. The Blue Devils romped in the first meeting, winning by 39 points.
But none of that matters when the Battle of the Blues resumes. Seventh-ranked Duke (19-3, 9-2 ACC) isn’t immune to an upset when it faces North Carolina (10-12, 3-8 ACC) at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Center

-- Book on Michigan State's leading role in the integration of college football. It explains Duffy Daugherty's untold pioneering role and debunks myths that steered recognition away from him to Bear Bryant.
Don’t believe the myths at Duffy Daugherty’s expense about Bear Bryant’s motivation to play the 1970 USC-Alabama game or myths about the Charlie Thornhill-for-Joe Namath trade. Bear Bryant knew nothing about black talent in the South while he dragged his feet on segregation.
