Florida third national seed to suffer CWS loss

We’re just two days into the College World Series yet the all three national seeds from the 64-team NCAA Tournament to advance to Omaha, Neb., have lost their opening game.

Florida, the No. 1 national seed, fell 2-1 to Coastal Carolina Sunday night at TD Ameritrade Park. The Gators’ tumble into the losers’ bracket was preceded by No. 3 national seed Miami losing Saturday night to Arizona, 5-1, and No. 5 national seed Texas Tech falling to TCU Sunday afternoon, 5-3. ...
